Police Investigation Underway After Woman Found Dead Inside Car in Glasgow

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found dead inside a vehicle in the Possilpark area of Glasgow late Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to Sunnylaw Street at approximately 11:15 p.m. on June 24 following reports of an unresponsive woman inside a car. Upon arrival, responders discovered the 50-year-old woman and sadly pronounced her dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the woman’s next of kin have been informed.

A police cordon remains in place along Sunnylaw Street as officers continue to carry out inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death. A significant police presence was observed in the area throughout Thursday as investigators examined the scene and gathered evidence.

At this stage, officials have not released further details regarding the cause of death, and no arrests have been announced.
