In Loving Memory of Tony Zorn

In Loving Memory of Tony Zorn

With profound sadness, we remember Tony Zorn of Lyons, Georgia, whose life was tragically lost in an airplane crash on Wednesday evening in Tattnall County.

Tony was the sole occupant of the aircraft when it went down near Highway 144 in the Tyson community west of Glennville. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, he sadly did not survive.

Today, family, friends, and all who knew him are left mourning a heartbreaking loss. While the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, those who loved Tony will remember far more than the tragedy that took him. They will remember his smile, his character, the memories he created, and the impact he made on the lives around him.

For those who shared in his journey, Tony was more than a name in a headline. He was a beloved family member, a friend, a neighbor, and a man whose presence brought meaning to the people fortunate enough to know him.

As loved ones navigate the difficult days ahead, may they find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and in the love that will continue to surround his family.

Though his final flight ended too soon, Tony’s memory will continue to soar in the hearts of those who cherished him.

Rest in peace, Tony Zorn.

Gone from sight, but never from memory.
