16-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shot in the Head on Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn
A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday night on Eastern Parkway, according to the New York City Police Department.
Officers from the 71st Precinct responded to a 911 call around 8:47 p.m. on November 1 for reports of an assault near 1196 Eastern Parkway. Upon arrival, police found the victim, Tyson Harps, 16, of Park Avenue in the Bronx, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Harps dead at the scene.
Investigators have not yet determined a motive, and no arrests have been made at this time. Police continue to search for the suspect or suspects responsible.

This marks another tragic act of gun violence in the city, as detectives work to determine what led to the deadly shooting.
