Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead in a field in Palmdale on Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2026.
According to reports, personnel from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of 13th Street East and Avenue R following the discovery.
At this time, officials have not released information regarding the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the death.
