A Michigan community is reeling after a tragic domestic shooting left four people dead inside a family home, according to authorities.
Police say the victims were identified as Sterling Pierce, 58, Holly Kimball, 53, Tanner Pierce, 22, and Nevaeh Finch, 21.
According to investigators, Sterling Pierce and Holly Kimball were found fatally shot in the backyard of the residence. Inside the home, officers discovered the bodies of Tanner Pierce and his girlfriend, Nevaeh Finch, in a bedroom.
Authorities said the parents and their two sons lived at the home, while Finch frequently stayed there.
When officers arrived at the scene, a 25-year-old man allegedly exited the residence with his hands raised and reportedly indicated that he had shot members of his family, police said.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding a possible motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The devastating loss of four lives has left family members, friends, and the wider community grieving as they await answers about what led to the tragedy.
