💔 TENNESSEE COMMUNITY IN MOURNING AFTER TWO CHILDREN FOUND DEAD, MOTHER CRITICALLY INJURED
A small Tennessee community is searching for answers following a heartbreaking tragedy that claimed the lives of two young children and left their mother fighting for her life.
According to authorities, officers responded Saturday to a residence in the 300 block of Jan Lynn Street in Kenton, where they discovered 1-year-old Landrie Harris and 11-year-old McKenna Young deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The children’s mother was also found inside the residence suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to Regional One Health in Memphis, where she remains in critical condition.
The devastating incident has left family members, friends, neighbors, and the entire Kenton community struggling to comprehend the loss of two young lives taken far too soon.
As daylight broke over the neighborhood following the tragedy, the scene remained eerily quiet, marked only by crime scene tape and the presence of investigators working to uncover what happened inside the home.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation remains active and ongoing. A male individual was reportedly being questioned as investigators worked to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is leading the case and has not yet released additional details regarding a motive or potential charges.
