Woman Killed in Derrynane Township Crash Has Been Identified, Infant Survives

Authorities have confirmed the death of 23-year-old Mackenzie Glaser of Belle Plaine following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning, September 11, 2025.

The crash occurred just before 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of 211th Avenue and 320th Street in Derrynane Township. According to investigators, Glaser was traveling north in her 2013 Chevrolet Malibu with her 1-year-old daughter when she failed to stop at a sign and entered the intersection. Her vehicle collided with an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Express van with trailer, driven by 49-year-old Christopher Call of Carver.

Glaser was killed on impact. Her car was pushed into the north ditch. Miraculously, her daughter survived and was transported to a local hospital for observation.

Call and his two passengers, 18-year-old Justus Call and a 14-year-old boy, were uninjured.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Montgomery Police, and area fire and EMS crews responded. The cause of the tragic crash remains under investigation.
