Victim Identified: Three Arrested in Crystal Springs Shooting
Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly shooting that took place earlier this week as 22-year-old Robert Brent Jr. Police have confirmed that three suspects, ages 17, 19, and 21, have been arrested in connection with his death.
According to investigators, officers were called to a vacant apartment on North Jackson Street around 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Brent suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the suspects and the victim may have known each other, though the exact motive behind the shooting has not yet been determined. The arrests came after a swift investigation by Crystal Springs Police, with assistance from local and state law enforcement agencies.
