Victim Identified as ‘Jojo’ in Downtown Buffalo Shooting

Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly overnight shooting in downtown Buffalo, New York, as Jojo, according to sources close to the investigation. The shooting occurred around 2:20 a.m. Saturday near West Chippewa and Pearl Streets, an area known for late-night activity.

Buffalo Police say Jojo was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived. A second male victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.

Investigators recovered two firearms hidden under vehicles in a nearby parking lot, along with multiple shell casings, indicating a possible exchange of gunfire. Police believe the shooting was targeted rather than random.
