UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspect in One of Two Friday Homicides

Authorities in Wisconsin Rapids have released new information following a tragic pair of homicides that occurred on Friday.

Police have identified the victims as Antoni Quinones, 34, and Randall Harris Sr., 56, who died in separate, unrelated incidents.

According to investigators, Randall Harris Jr., 34, has been arrested and charged in connection with his father’s death on 11th Street South. He is currently being held at the Wood County Jail.

In the second incident, Quinones was found critically injured at a home on 21st Avenue South. He was transported to Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police confirmed that the two deaths are not connected and are being treated as isolated cases.

Autopsies for both victims are scheduled to take place on November 3 in Madison.

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, with assistance from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, continues to investigate both homicides. Anyone with information is urged to contact local authorities.
