Three Arrested in Connection with Carrollton Triple Shooting That Killed Lareon “Blu” Ivery Brown
Carrollton, GA — November 2, 2025 — The Carrollton Police Department has announced significant developments in the deadly shooting that claimed the life of 26-year-old Lareon “Blu” Ivery Brown early Sunday morning.
Following an intense investigation, authorities confirmed the arrests of three suspects now facing multiple felony charges in connection to the incident.
Those charged include:

Cyntez Worthy, 23, of Villa Rica

Jamine Hutchinson, 31, of Villa Rica

Zontavius Vaughn, 26, of Carrollton
Each suspect has been charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Police confirmed all three are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on 6th Street, following reports of a fight that escalated into gunfire. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were hospitalized.
