Teen Driver Killed, Six Others Injured in Two-Car Crash on Scots B966

ANGUS, Scotland — A tragic road accident on the B966 between Edzell and Inchbare, near Brechin, has left a 19-year-old male driver dead and six others hospitalized.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, following reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a blue Ford Fiesta and a white Kia Ceed.

The 19-year-old driver of the Ford Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene. His passengers, including a 17-year-old female, a 17-year-old male, an 18-year-old man, and a 23-year-old man, were transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

The 43-year-old female driver of the Kia Ceed and her 17-year-old male passenger were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision, including road conditions and potential contributing factors. Authorities have urged anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
