Philadelphia Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Shooting on West Grange Avenue
The Philadelphia Police Department has arrested Hudhayfah Trice, 28, in connection with a deadly shooting on the 400 block of West Grange Avenue.
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 4:50 a.m., officers responded to a radio call reporting a “person with a gun.” Upon arrival, they discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.
Michael Davila Rivera, 25, of the 5000 block of North Fairhill Street, was found suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 5:02 a.m.
The second victim, a 28-year-old male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
Following an investigation, police arrested Trice on Monday, October 27, 2025. At the time of his arrest, officers recovered a loaded handgun.
Trice has been charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, and related offenses. The investigation into the incident is ongoing as authorities work to gather more details.
