Middletown Police Identify Unionville Man, 36, Killed in Main Street Crash.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Police have identified the victim of a fatal Middletown crash that occurred early Tuesday morning behind a Main Street building.

According to Middletown Police Sgt. Elias Martz, the victim was 36-year-old Samuel Schrader of Unionville, a section of Farmington.

Officers and emergency responders were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday to the rear of DaVita Dialysis on Main Street, where they found Schrader lying on the ground with severe injuries to his head and extremities.

Schrader was transported to Middlesex Hospital, but he later died from his injuries, police confirmed.

Initial Crash Investigation

Investigators said the early evidence suggests Schrader was struck by a vehicle. The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with Middletown police.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the Main Street accident is still ongoing.
