Kaylee Taylor Obituary, Death – Homicide Investigation Ongoing in Northwest Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are investigating the tragic death of 26-year-old Kaylee Taylor, who was fatally shot late Monday night in northwest Harris County.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called around 9:15 p.m. to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Woodwind Oaks and Shady Grove Drive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Taylor lying at the end of a cul-de-sac with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators located approximately nine shell casings nearby, indicating multiple rounds were fired. A red Mercedes was also found close to the area, though officials have not confirmed whether it belonged to Taylor or was connected to the shooting.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed the case is being treated as a homicide investigation. At this time, no suspects have been identified and no motive has been determined.
