Jefferson County Community Mourns the Loss of Minister Vincent Williams Jr.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark. — The Jefferson County community is grieving the tragic death of Vincent Williams Jr., who was killed in a car accident on Highway 425 near the Love’s gas station late Wednesday evening.

Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley confirmed Williams’ passing. He was a 1998 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and was widely known for his service and leadership in the local faith community.

The Pine Bluff District #1 released a statement expressing heartbreak over the loss, describing Williams as a devoted minister and beloved community member.

“We are asking all saints to join us in fervent prayer for Pastor Vincent Williams, First Lady Williams, and the entire Williams family during this time of unimaginable loss,” the statement read.

Community members, friends, and classmates have been sharing condolences and memories of Williams, honoring his impact on both his church and hometown.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the accident, which involved an 18-wheeler and remains under investigation.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
