    PERSHING COUNTY, Nev. — Authorities have released new updates on several serious incidents that occurred during this year’s Burning Man Festival.

    Homicide Victim Identified

    Deputies discovered a man in a pool of blood near a camp during the burn of the “Man” on August 30. He was later identified as 37-year-old Vadim Kruglov of Washington State. The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office is calling the case “heinous” and is asking for any information about the killing.

    Sexual Assault Arrest

    Deputies arrested Alessandro Boshant, 34, of Southern California, after a victim came forward alleging rape. Boshant has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of burglary. His bail was set at $640,000.

    Drug and Firearms Arrest

    In a separate incident, deputies arrested Michael Olney during a traffic stop. He was found with two firearms and a “large quantity” of drugs believed to be for distribution. He faces multiple felony charges and is being held on $92,500 bail.

    Authorities continue to investigate these cases while emphasizing safety concerns at the festival.

    BATON ROUGE, La. — A second arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed the life of an 18-year-old earlier this year.

    According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Jeremieah Davis, 19, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

    Davis now joins Keithan Lee, 19, who was previously charged with the same offenses.

    April Shooting Details

    The fatal shooting took place on April 26 near the intersection of North 38th Street and Choctaw Drive.

    Police responded to the scene and discovered a Dodge vehicle riddled with bullet holes. Inside the car, officers found the victim, 18-year-old Jonathan Triplett, who was pronounced dead in the driver’s seat.

    Ongoing Investigation

    Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the shooting or the possible connection between the suspects and the victim.

    Both Davis and Lee remain in custody as the investigation continues.
