The gunfire broke out Saturday evening at the International Cultural Center parking lot, where a tailgate celebration was taking place after the university’s football game. Jeffers, who was shot in the head, was pronounced dead at the scene. The six injured victims, aged between 20 and 25, are expected to recover from their wounds.

Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, 21, has been identified as a suspect in the shooting. He was arrested and is currently being held at the Chester County Prison on a $25,000 bail, facing charges of carrying a firearm without a license.
