MONROE, La. — Authorities are investigating a triple homicide that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at a residence on Grammont Street, near the city’s public works department.
Monroe Police responded around 2:30 a.m. to find three victims — 26-year-old Jaborris Simpson, his 2-year-old daughter Jhersi Simpson, and adult male Jamal Bosley — all fatally shot in the head.
Police have not released details on a possible motive or suspects. However, local law enforcement has assured the public that they are actively working the case.
In a press conference earlier today, Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis and Police Chief Victor Zordan asked for citywide prayers for the victims and their families, and for the community to come together during this tragic time.
As of now, there are no arrests, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Monroe Police Department. Updates will be shared as new details emerge in the investigation.
