In Loving Memory of Lizzie Meehan

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember our cherished Mother and Granny, Lizzie Meehan of Meenacally, Co. Donegal, whose passing on September 10th, 2024, left a space in our lives that can never be filled. Though a year has passed, her memory continues to live on in everyone who knew her—through her gentle wisdom, her kindness, and the love she so freely shared.

Lizzie was a woman of strength, faith, and compassion. She carried herself with quiet dignity and gave selflessly to her family and community. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome, where she created memories that her children and grandchildren will carry for a lifetime.

As we gather for her First Anniversary Mass on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church, Killymard, at 7 p.m., we give thanks to God for the gift of her life and the blessings she bestowed upon us.

Though her voice is stilled and her presence deeply missed, her spirit continues to guide us each day. She remains a shining light in our hearts—a reminder of what it means to love deeply, live faithfully, and give generously.

We take comfort in knowing that while she may no longer walk beside us, she watches over us still. Forever loved, forever missed, Lizzie’s memory will always be a blessing.
