Princes Town Woman, 20, Dies in Early-Morning Crash
Princes Town, Trinidad — September 4, 2025
A 20-year-old woman, Naomi Ramnarine of Libertville, Rio Claro, was killed in an early-morning accident along the M1 Tasker Road in Princes Town on Thursday.
Ramnarine, seated in the front passenger seat of a blue Nissan Frontier driven by her boyfriend, was on her way to the airport when the vehicle collided with another car around 5 a.m. Her boyfriend’s stepmother, who was seated in the back, and the other driver were taken to hospital for treatment.
Her parents, Parbudial and Naseem, broke down in tears at the crash site, mourning the loss of their only surviving daughter. “That’s my only daughter. She was a very loving child,” her father said.
Naomi worked at a Chinese restaurant and had been saving to one day start a home and get married.
She is the second young woman to die in a road accident this week. On September 3, 19-year-old Lysanne Julien was killed in Port of Spain when the car she was in collided with a PTSC bus.
