Four Killed, Two Injured in Kwadwesi Mass Shooting as Police Launch Manhunt

🚨 WOMAN AMONG FOUR KILLED IN KWADWESI MASS SHOOTING

Police in Gqeberha have launched a manhunt following a deadly mass shooting that claimed the lives of four people and left two others seriously injured.

According to authorities, officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in Mti Street, Govern Mbeki (Ezinyoka), Kwadwesi, at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Preliminary reports indicate that armed assailants attacked the home and opened fire on multiple occupants.

Three victims—two women and one man—were found dead at the scene with fatal gunshot wounds. A fourth female victim was transported to hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to her injuries.

Two additional female victims sustained serious injuries and remain hospitalized while receiving medical treatment.

Police have not yet released the identities of the victims as investigations continue. Detectives are working to establish the motive for the attack and identify those responsible.

Authorities have appealed to members of the public with information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
