🚨 HASSAN HAIDAR SHOT DEAD IN LAVAL AS INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

The fatal shooting of Hassan Haidar, 33, in Laval has become the latest deadly incident in a period marked by ongoing violence involving individuals allegedly connected to organized crime in the Greater Montréal area.

According to publicly available information, the shooting occurred on June 4 in Laval’s Auteuil district. Haidar was reportedly inside a vehicle when gunfire erupted.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and provided medical assistance before transporting him to hospital in critical condition. Despite lifesaving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Because of the potential links to organized crime, the case was transferred to provincial authorities for further investigation.

Authorities have previously identified Haidar as an individual associated with the Rolling 90s, a criminal group active in western Montréal. His death comes amid a series of violent incidents that investigators believe may be connected to ongoing rivalries between criminal networks operating in Québec.

Law enforcement officials have also expressed concern about conflicts that continue beyond the streets, with some recent incidents reportedly involving individuals connected to criminal groups while inside correctional facilities.

At this time, no arrests have been announced. Investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting and whether it is directly connected to broader organized crime disputes.

The investigation remains active.

🕊️ Condolences are extended to the family and loved ones of Hassan Haidar as they mourn his loss.
