Two Suspects Wanted After Robbing 71-Year-Old Woman in South St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of a 71-year-old woman in South City.

The incident occurred Monday, September 8, 2025, in the 3600 block of Shenandoah Avenue. Investigators said two individuals approached the woman, stole her purse, and caused her to fall to the ground during the struggle.

The suspects then fled on foot, heading east and west through a nearby alley.

Detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s District 2 are handling the case. Both suspects are wanted for Robbery 2nd Degree.
