The Carrollton Police Department has identified 26-year-old Lareon “Blu” Ivery Brown as the woman killed in a tragic triple shooting early Sunday morning.

Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to reports of gunfire near 6th Street, following what investigators described as a fight that escalated into violence. Two other victims were transported to Atlanta-area hospitals — one by ambulance and another by private vehicle. Their conditions have not been released. Police have not yet announced any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Friends and family have flooded social media with grief and disbelief. Many described Blu as a devoted mother of three and a joyful presence whose energy “lit up every room.” A cousin shared, “She just told me she was pregnant… now she’s gone. Rest easy, Queen.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Carrollton Police at (770) 834-4451 or call 911. The department is asking the community to come forward to help bring justice for Lareon “Blu” Ivery Brown and her family.
